Annie Annuals offers a wide variety of plants for sale. Annie is an expert on annuals and has created this plant list to help customers find the perfect plant for their needs! Alternanthera ficoidea ‘Aureomaculata’ “Chocolate Chip” –

Low growing groundcover with small, green leaves that turn brown in winter and resemble chips of chocolate. Small white flowers appear sporadically throughout the year on short spikes. Drought tolerant .

Angelonia –

Summer snapdragons, a low growing annual forming a mound of foliage covered with lacy flowers in shades of pink, lavender or white for most of summer and fall. Pref sun to part shade and is drought tolerant.

Aquilegia – Columbine –

Tall spikes of red, yellow or white flowers that appear in early summer and last through spring – Prefers part shade to full sun .

Begonia-

There are many varieties of begonia but the most common are tuberous rooted plants with large colorful leaves and bright flowers. Prefers moist soil with good drainage. May be grown as annuals if conditions are not right for wintering over in cooler climates .

Calibrachoa-

Million Bells , Superbells series are tender perennials producing masses of trailing, mounded foliage covered with snapdragon-like blooms in shades of pink, purple, orange or white during spring into late fall. These easy care plants tolerate heat and drought and attract butterflies. Pref full sun to part shade .

Capsicum annuum ‘Black Pearl’ –

A new addition to the Annie Annuals collection for, these plants will produce 2-4″ long, slightly curved peppers that start out dark purple and ripen to black by fall with thick, juicy flesh and mild flavor. Attracts butterflies. Prefers sun .

Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Golden Sprite’ –

Golden sprite is a low growing cultivar of Sawara cypress with bright yellow foliage covered with chartreuse colored flowers in spring.- Drought tolerant .

Dahlia ‘Country Girl Mix’-

A mix of pastel colors on small petaled blooms which are perfect for adding long lasting color to your garden. Prefers sunny locations with well drained soil .

Datura-

Also called moonflower or sacred datura , it is an annual vine related to deadly nightshade and native to tropical America where it is used as a hallucinogen. Large, trumpet shaped flowers in white, pink or purple open at dusk and close the following day which makes them ideal for night time container gardens. Pref full sun and rich soil that drains well .

Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’ –

Coneflowers are members of the daisy family that provide masses of large blooms in shades ranging from white to dark purple up until frost. Prefers moist soil in part shade but tolerates full sun.

Eschscholzia californica ‘Fiesta Series’ –

California Poppies are low growing, drought tolerant perennials that produce masses of flowers in shades of red, orange or yellow starting in spring and lasting through fall. Prefers full sun; deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering .

Gaillardia x grandiflora ‘Fanfare Mix’-

A mix of daisy-like flowers on 18-24″ tall plants that bloom all summer into frost. Colors range from white, pink, orange and red to bronze with contrasting dark eyes. Pref full sun; deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering .

Gaura lindheimeri ‘Alba’-

White Gaura is an attractive bushy plant that produces large spikes of white flowers from early to late summer. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun or part shade .

Gazania ‘Sunshine Mix’-

Annual gazanias produce a variety of flower colors including yellow, orange, white and red with dark eyes throughout spring and summer . Pref full sun but will tolerate part shade .

Helenium autumnale ‘PowWow Wild Berry’ –

Hardy perennial with daisy-like flowers on 3-4′ stems in shades of purple, pink and blue which appear in fall. Prefers moist , well drained soil but will tolerate dry conditions once established.

Helianthus annuus ‘Lemon Queen’-

A new addition to the Annie Annuals collection, these plants will produce 2-4″ long, slightly curved peppers that start out dark purple and ripen to black by fall with thick, juicy flesh and mild flavor. Attracts butterflies. Prefers sun .
